1. General

These terms apply when you use our website and shop with Nancy Chester. By using the website you accept these terms.

2. Eligibility

By using this website you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or
  • You have the consent of a parent or guardian

You may not use the website or our products for unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorized purposes.

3. Formation of the Contract

A contract is formed when you receive an order confirmation from us by email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order before it has been accepted, including in cases of:

  • Suspected fraud
  • Pricing or listing errors
  • Lack of stock availability
  • Breach of these terms

If an order is cancelled after payment, the full amount is refunded.

4. Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase, provided they have not entered processing. After that time the order may already have been:

  • Processed
  • Packed
  • Prepared for shipment
  • Handed to a carrier

Once an order has reached these stages, cancellation cannot be guaranteed. If the order has shipped, cancellation is no longer possible and you will need to follow the return procedure in our return policy.

5. Product Information

We aim to present our products as accurately as possible. Please note that:

  • Colors may vary depending on screen settings
  • Minor variations in texture or appearance may occur
  • Product descriptions, availability and prices may change without notice

Obvious errors or inaccuracies are not binding.

6. Prices and Payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without notice. Payment must be made in full before an item is shipped. We use secure, encrypted payment systems. Nancy Chester does not store full card details.

7. Delivery

Estimated delivery times are given as guidance only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Carriers
  • Customs handling
  • Incorrect delivery details provided by you
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Risk in the item passes to you on confirmed delivery.

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns are governed by our return and cancellation policy. You may request a return within 30 days of delivery, provided the conditions are met. You are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to a fault on our side. In addition, you have a statutory right to cancel a distance purchase within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, as set out in Section 2 of that policy. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for faulty goods are unaffected.

9. Prohibited Use

You may not use the website:

  • For unlawful or fraudulent activity

  • To interfere with the security of the website
  • To abuse customer care

A breach may result in the service being suspended or terminated.

Our total liability will never exceed the amount you paid for the product concerned.
